About Whitestown, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Boone County, Indiana, Whitestown is a small town located just northwest of Indianapolis. As of 2010, about 2,900 people lived here. Whitestown was named for Albert S. White, a former U.S. Senator for Indiana who also served as the president of the railroad that was built through town. This community is situated along Interstate 65, and students will attend either Lebanon or Zionsville Community Schools depending on whether they reside in Perry Township or Worth Township.

Whitestown is a small community, and while there aren’t any major attractions located here, there are a few interesting places to stop. There are several specialty shops located in the community, including Jump’s Crossing Antiques, GreenCycle of Indiana, and ADQ. Kristina’s Salon is a great local place to get your hair done, and the Wolf Run Golf Club House is a popular destination for golf enthusiasts. The Hickory Hall Polo Club is also located in Whitestown.

The weather in Whitestown will vary with the season. During the summer months, conditions tend to be hot and humid, with average highs reaching the upper-80s or even into the 90s. The right climate control systems are important for several reasons during this season, including keeping home interiors cool, helping allergy sufferers by improving indoor air quality, and ensuring that home cooling costs stay affordable.

The autumn and spring seasons tend to be fairly calm and pleasant, but the winter months can be unpredictable. Temperatures are cold, with daytime highs only reaching the 30s and overnight lows falling below zero. Snowfall totals vary throughout the year, and while some seasons see heavy snow, other years might only get sporadic and light accumulation. To stay prepared regardless of what Mother Nature has in store during this season, residents will want to invest in a reliable and energy efficient heat pump or furnace at home.
