About Westfield, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Westfield is a Hamilton County city found within the Indianapolis Metro Area. As of 2010, the population here had just recently surpassed 30,000 residents. Westfield was founded by North Carolina Quakers in 1834, and it is thought that the community was intended to be a stop on the Underground Railroad. The community was incorporated in 1848 as a town, and it was incorporated as a city in 2008.

One of the most notable attractions in Westfield is Grand Park – a 400-acre sports campus that features 26 softball and baseball diamonds. It also includes 31 multipurpose fields used for soccer, rugby, lacrosse, field hockey, and football, and an indoor facility was also recently added. Grand Park also features green space with more than ten miles of walking and bike trails.

Westfield was ranked within the top 20 best places to live in the U.S. by CNN Money, so there are several things to see and do here. Visitors looking to improve their handicap or simply play a round might like to visit Wood Wind Golf Club. Tim’s Shooting Academy of Westfield is a popular destination for target practice, and visitors who are looking to try some Hoosier BBQ might like to make a trip to Big Hoffa’s Smokehouse.

Situated in a humid continental climate zone, Westfield will experience four distinct seasons throughout the year. The summer months are warm to hot with high humidity, and residents rely on their air conditioning units to get them through the most difficult days. Typically, air conditioning use is only needed from late June to early September, but residents will rely on their home furnace systems for a longer period of time. Winters are quite cold, and since average temperatures in January are only about 28 degrees Fahrenheit, residents will want to ensure that their systems are working properly before the season begins.
